Create Account.

To create a LetterGenie account, simply sign up for a free trial. (Note: Trial accounts have a LetterGenie ad footer and limited features, but are free for as long as you want to use them.) You must have an existing Highrise account as you will be required to supply your Highrise URL and API token in order to create a working LetterGenie account.

Import Highrise Contacts.

When you first log in, all of your Highrise contacts will be imported into LetterGenie and be displayed by individual (person) and by group (tag).

Create Letter Templates.

You can then create letter templates in LetterGenie using the built in editor and inserting contact placeholders (fields) within the body of the letter.

Create Customized Letters!

After you have imported your contacts and created your letter templates, creating a letter is as simple as (1) selecting the individual or group to receive the letter, (2) selecting the template letter, and (3) clicking on the “create PDF” button. Here is an example of a letter created with LetterGenie.

If you have a paid LetterGenie account (starting at only $5 per month), you can drop the ad footer, create your own personalized letterhead, upload and insert images (e.g., signatures) into your letters, and insert a link to the PDF letter you just created as a note in the recipient’s Highrise contact record.
